Improvements

Allow custom branch names based on Jira values like version, component, parent issue etc.

The app now allows dynamic branch names based on a template with Jira variables which get replaced by their actual values when creating a branch from Jira.

Here you can see an example with a branch name template using the Jira component, fix version, parent issue key as well as issue details for the branch name:

Verified compatibility with Jira Cloud

While the app always supported Jira Server and Data Center to configure the branch values coming from the development panel to the create branch dialog of Bitbucket, we have now verified that the app works with Jira Cloud too.

Upcoming Data Center approved version

We intend to launch a Data Center approved version of this app. Data Center customers will be required to purchase a Data Center app license upon their next renewal.

App does not take the most specific branch mapping when a Jira issue has multiple components attached
