Road to Data Center Edition

To make Code Review Assistant ready for an upcoming Bitbucket Data Center release, we evaluated the existing features and concluded to deprecate the existing static code analyzers.

As a replacement we support showing Compiler and Code Analysis results in your Pull Requests, a way to consume your CI build logs and extract code insights from your build:

Features

• Added ‘Show Code Analysis in PR’ feature, which supports javac and PMD warnings on Bamboo.
  
  Tell us what analyzers and linters you are using, so we can add support for those.

Deprecated

• The existing built-in custom analyzers are deprecated. These analyzers will not be supported for a multiple node setup. The will keep working on existing single node installation during a transition period. Migrate to the ‘Show Code Analysis in PR’ feature instead.

• The code cross-reference feature is deprecated.
  It is not supported on Bitbucket 7 and it only works on Bitbucket 6. As Bitbucket 6 reached its end of life, we will remove this feature in an upcoming release.
